"Sweet Damnation" = Thursday

Hola Vaniards,

First, we want to thank ya’ll for your patience over the last couple of months. Second, that stomping sound growing stronger in the distance is the impending apocalypse…just to confirm. On a related note, after a full weekend of editing, creating music, editing, watching Gary Busey video, gathering sound effects and doing last minute voice over work, the final version of “Sweet Damnation” is now being processed for the internet and straight download. We are joyous about it, and plan to release it on the website this Thursday (Nov. 20) at 6pm, Central time. Here are some details:

The facts:

  • The movie is about 25 minutes long.
  • Rated R for language and adult themes.
  • We are planning on offering various options for viewing including watching it on our website, downloading it from the website, downloading it from a hosting site (yet to be determined), or buying a hard copy of the movie (available at a later date).
  • Unlike Metallica, we want you to download it and send it to whomever you want. All we ask is that if you like it, donate what you think it’s worth.
  • Extras from the movie (outtakes, behind the scenes footage) are being prepared as we speak. They will be released on our website periodically after the official release of the movie.
  • Several local bands donated songs for the movie. Thank you boys! We are working on a possible soundtrack and/or method to download the songs from the movie.
  • You will be able to post your short comments/reviews on the Sweet Damnation page. 

The fiction

  • It’s a kids movie.
  • There’s nudity.
  • Gary Busey’s in it.

Also, Ben and Mike made a new “What we do” video. It’s posted on our homepage. Check it and wreck it. 

So mark your calendars babies, it’s gonna be fun. But until then, check out this video and that video to get your fix.

The End is Near

What’s up people,

Man, I appreciate the concern, but who in the hell is going to forget to vote today?!

Anyways, the full-tilt weekend will be upon us in a few days. We’ve already got the game plan. We should have the movie, but also some other video for the website. All work and no play make us no fun boys! We are dead-set on this thing being done by Sunday, so stay tuned.
