Hey people,
Sorry for the lapse in communication. We are currently dealing with a snag involving the haunted house documentary. Details will be provided when we confirm what they are. Anyways, the grind shall continue:
1. We got together for some crazy tiquer action a week ago. It did not disappoint. We never did get a clear view of a Bandee monkey, but there were plenty of tiquers weary from the previous night’s lure of the dralu root.
2. Amid discussions about the 2nd leg of the “Sweet Damnation” post-production, we were able to squeeze in a bloody game of paintball. 2 forehead shots and 1 shot to the jugular were witnessed and dealt with for a week (by the wounded). It was a stellar get-together, right Shirley?
3. Ben will be opening the writing doors for the new short script in the near future. Actually, he’ll do the writing, but everyone who participates will receive a story credit. Your name will be in lights!

Hola Vaniards,
It’s mostly quiet on the homefront, so there’s not a lot of updates. A couple ideas we are pontificating on:
1. Villisca may not be the last haunted house we visit. Minnesota is brewing with them. The Mounds Theatre is a few blocks from Ben’s house. And there’s supposedly plenty of other places too. Whatever comes of it, one thing’s for sure. Vanish never was, nor never will be professional ghost hunters. (Hell, some of us don’t even believe in the paralegal) We’re just a band of gypsies who gravitate towards the crazy shnitzel. That’s our gig and we’re sticking to it.
2. What format would be ideal for “Sweet Damnation?” Downloads, DVD, streaming? Let us know by commenting to this blog or contact us through our website.
We’ll leave you with a song you should listen to. The chorus-like sound in the background is the sound of recorded crickets that’s been slowed down a ton. No studio manipulation. It’s cool and creepy…

Now, some updates from our corner of the world:
1. Because of circumstances beyond our control, the release of “Sweet Damnation” has been moved from summer to fall. Our full-time jobs are a little too full-time this summer, and we want to make sure this thing is as good as the footage suggests. Many people have inquired/hounded us about seeing this flick, and secretly we love it. Feels good to have the support of the Vanish Nation, and we are committed to utilize every trick to get you out of your seat. It’ll be just around the corner, my little debutants…
2. Thanks to all the people who’ve visited the website. We have several new updates:
